SIERVAS DE SAN JOSE AND LAY JOSEPHINES CELEBRATING TOGETHER THE FEAST OF THE HOLY FAMILY (LUZON, PHILIPPINES - DECEMBER 27, 2015)

1st PUBLIC COMMITMENT OF JACKIE, JANET, SALLY, CECILE, JOSEPH & JONERI
AS LAY JOSEPHINES
The celebration of the Feast of the Holy Family last December 27, 2015 was, indeed, a very unforgettable event for the Siervas and the LJs. Both of them experienced the outpouring of God’s manifold graces, the joy of dedicating oneself as a Sierva or as an LJ and the preciousness and beauty of each other’s presence.
The main highlights of the celebration were:

v The annual devotional renewal of the religious vows of the SSJ Professed Sisters during the Celebration of the Eucharist

v The First Public Commitment of the eleven (11) new Lay Josephines to Jesus the Worker in Nazareth and to the Holy Family as Lay Josephines, which followed after the renewal of the Sisters.

After more than a year of Monthly Formation Sessions facilitated by the “old” Lay Josephines and SSJ Sisters; of undergoing an Exposure Program to the different SSJ Communities-Taller and Centers; and of living the Nazareth Spirituality in their daily life, they were ready for such commitment. As the “old” Lay Josephines and the sisters witnessed their Public Commitment, they were all touched…
